Storing & Freezing

Our breads have no preservatives, so they are best the day you buy them. We recommend keeping them cut side down on a cutting board covered with a clean, dry dishcloth. If the bread begins to harden, you can moisten it with a little water and refresh the crust in a 400º oven for 5-10 minutes. Our breads keep very well frozen. Just wrap the loaf tightly in plastic and place it in a sealed plastic bag. When you are ready to use it, unwrap it, thaw and follow the above directions for refreshing the crust.

AMISH – Unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, non-fat milk powder, NON-GMO canola oil, beet sugar (made from NON-GMO beets), sea salt, yeast.  Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes.

ASIAGO – Unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, asiago cheese, NON-GMO canola oil, sea salt, yeast.  Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes.

BRIOCHE/CHALLAH – Unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), whole eggs, egg yolks, sugar, filtered water, sea salt. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes.

CARAMELIZED ONION – Unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, yellow onions, NON-GMO canola oil, stone-ground whole wheat flour, sea salt.  Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes.

CIABATTA –  A very traditional Italian bread containing only unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, sea salt and yeast. Natural starters used: Biga and Poolish. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. Ciabatta, which means “slipper” in Italian, is one of our most popular breads.

COUNTRY DINNER ROLLS – Wheat flour, filtered water, whole wheat flour, whole rye flour, barley malt, sea salt, yeast (Multigrain Rolls: sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, rolled oats; Caramelized Onion Rolls: onions, NON-GMO canola oil, stone-ground whole wheat flour; Raisin Fennel Rolls: golden raisins, fennel seeds, Roasted Garlic Rolls: garlic, NON-GMO canola oil)

COUNTRY FRENCH – Unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), whole wheat flour, rye flour, filtered water, sea salt. Natural starter used: Wheat Levain. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. This is a beautiful combination of two of our favorite breads, whole wheat and sourdough!

CRACKER BREAD – Unbleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, sea salt. (topped with one or more of the following: NON-GMO canola oil, red pepper flakes, thyme, asiago cheese, sun-dried tomatoes).

CRANBERRY, ORANGE & WALNUT* – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, sweetened dried cranberries (cranberries, sugar, sunflower oil), walnuts, orange extract, sea salt. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (Vegan) *CONTAINS WALNUTS.

FIG & HONEY – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, black mission figs, amber honey, corn meal, sea salt. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes.

FOCACCIA – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, NON-GMO canola oil, sea salt, yeast. (may be topped with rosemary and/or parmesan). Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes.(Plain & Herb both Vegan)

FRENCH – Unbleached wheat flour ((wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, sea salt. Natural starter used: Biga and Poolish. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes

MALTED BROWN BREAD – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, stone-ground whole wheat flour, medium rye flour, raisin puree, molasses, barley malt, sea salt, yeast. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (Vegan)

MULTIGRAIN – Wheat, whole wheat, and rye flours blended with rolled oats, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, millet, barley, corn, filtered water and sea salt. Natural starter used: Wheat Levain. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. Our Mulitgrain bread is our heartiest bread.

N.Y. CORN RYE – Unbleached wheat flour, rye flour, filtered water, sea salt, caraway seeds. Cornmeal topping. Natural starters used: White Levain and Biga. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. Perfect sandwich bread!

OLIVE – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, kalamata olives, stone-ground whole wheat flour, sea salt, thyme, yeast. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes(Vegan)

PIZZA CRUST – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, NON-GMO canola oil, sea salt, yeast. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (Vegan)

PRAIRIE (WHOLE WHEAT) – Stone-ground whole wheat flour, filtered water, NON-GMO canola oil, sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, rolled oats, sugar, unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sea salt, yeast. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (Vegan)

PRETZEL- Unbleached wheat flour ((wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), milk powder, canola oil, filtered water, yeast and sea salt. Natural starter used: Biga. Made in the traditional German style, before baking, the pretzel is dipped briefly in a mixture of lye (sodium hydroxide and water). In German this mixture is called Natronlauge.

ROSEMARY & SAGE – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, rosemary, sage, sea salt. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (Vegan)

SOURDOUGH – A traditional Sourdough bread made with only unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, and sea salt. Natural starter used: White Levain. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. Our sourdough bread is tangy, chewy, and crusty. Sourdough was invented in ancient Egypt and is common in many parts of Europe.

WHITE DINNER ROLLS – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, NON-GMO canola oil, sea salt, yeast. (Rosemary & Sage Rolls: rosemary, sage; Cheese Rolls: asiago cheese; Fig Rolls: figs, corn meal, honey; Olive Rolls: kalamata olives, whole wheat, thyme). Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (All Vegan except Asiago)

WALNUT – Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), filtered water, stone-ground whole wheat flour, whole rye flour, walnuts, sea salt. Contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. (Vegan)

*WALNUT SHELL & OLIVE PIT WARNING: Although we make our best efforts to remove them, walnut shells or olive pit fragments may be encountered in these products. Our breads are all natural products made with whole ingredients and it is impossible to guarantee that they will be shell and pit free.
