Hubcap – Jay Porter recreated his former El Take It Easy as Hubcap – a burger joint with excellent cocktails. The Paloma, carried over from El Take It Easy, goes oh so well with the fluffy cheese gravy fries. The burgers are really, really good. The buns are are slathered top and bottom with mayo, then grilled. Burgers are topped with shredded lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and pickles. As always, Jay uses the highest quality grass fed beef. The house-made veggie burger is one of the best in town. Hubcap serves all their burgers on a Sadie Rose Sesame Bun.

Salt & Cleaver – Located on 5th Ave in Hillcrest, Salt & Cleaver focuses on gourmet sausages and craft beer. With 23 sausages to choose from, Salt & Cleaver is sure to please just about any carnivore. They have over 20 craft beers on tap and some seriously good cocktails like the California Collins made up of Ballast Point Gin, lemon/ grapefruit Juice, lemongrass simple syrup and soda. Salt & Cleaver is serving their gourmet sausages on a Sadie Rose Pretzel Torpedo Roll.
